Catskill Student Designs Police Department’s New Patch

A few months ago, Officer Chuck Rion inquired about having a student design a new patch for the department. Knowing her immense talent in the arts and graphic design, Mrs. Doney, Liliana’s art teacher, asked her to come up with some designs to submit. Liliana incorporated the Hudson River, Rip Van Winkle Bridge, and Catskill Mountains into her design. Her ideas were taken back to the department and final artistic adjustments were made before the new patch was unveiled this June. Please join us in congratulating LIliana as she continues to contribute her talents to our community!
