Here’s some photos from the fourth grade picnic that wrapped up their time at the pool. As part of their physical education classes, our fourth graders head to Wolff’s Maple Breeze Resort for aquatics lessons in June. Along with learning basic strokes, kicks, and rhythmic breathing techniques, students get prepped in how to use a personal flotation device (PFD), stay warm in open water, and methods to help others in danger without putting themselves in harm’s way. For the picnic, students enjoyed outdoor games and free swim in the pool. As always, special thanks go out to Wolff’s Maple Breeze Resort and the Mansey Family for providing our school with the use of their pool and grounds.
