Not one, not two, not three, not even four, but FIVE Catskill Central School District varsity teams made the grade as scholar athlete teams for the fall 2023 season. This December, our girls soccer, boys soccer, girls tennis, girls volleyball, and boys golf teams each received a certificate from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) recognizing their scholarly achievements. In order to qualify as a scholar athlete team, the team must hold a collective grade point average of 90 or better among at least 75 percent of the athletes on the roster. Cats can and Cats will!
