There are three candidates running for four open seats on the Catskill Central School District Board of Education. Any seat may also be filled by a write-in candidate. The candidates’ names will appear on the ballot in the following order, as determined by a random drawing of names:
Michael Dedrick – read bio
Paul Brown – read bio
Charles Holtz – read bio
The three highest-vote getters will be elected to three-year terms running July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029.
The fourth-highest-vote getter will fill the remainder of the unexpired term left vacant by the resignation of Junait Shah, running May 20, 2026 – June 30, 2028.
The 2026-27 school budget vote and Board of Education election is Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Catskill High School gymnasium.
A Meet the Candidates forum hosted by Catskill High School’s Leadership Greene students is scheduled for May 6 at 5:00 p.m. in the Catskill High School library.
