My name is Michael Dedrick. I am a lifelong resident of the Town of Catskill. I graduated from Catskill High School in 1990. I have been in law enforcement for 30 years. I am retired from the Albany County Sheriff’s Office. I also worked for the Catskill Police Department and the Athens Police Department. I currently work part-time as a Police Officer for the Athens Police Department, and I work full-time as a Security Administrator for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. My wife is a teacher and works for the Catskill School District. All three of our children attended Catskill School District where they received an excellent education by dedicated teachers. I have experience as a school board member, having served on the BOE for three years from 2017-2020. I am proud of the progress we made during my previous tenure on the BOE. We achieved great progress for the district, the students, faculty and staff. I would like this opportunity again to help make our school district the best it can be. Our students, staff and community deserve nothing less than that.
