My name is Michael Dedrick. I am a lifelong resident of the Town of Catskill. I graduated from the Catskill High School in 1990. I am a retired Sergeant from the Albany County Sheriff’s Office. I also worked for the Catskill Police Department and the Athens Police Department. I had nearly 30 years of service in law enforcement. I currently work full-time as a Lead Security Administrator for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. My wife is a teacher and works for the Catskill School District. All three of our children attended the Catskill School District where they received an excellent education by dedicated teachers. Our youngest is graduating this year after attending Tech Valley. I have experience as a school board member, having served on the BOE for three years from 2017-2020 and also the last two years. I am proud of the progress we made during my tenures on the BOE. We achieved great progress for the district, the students, faculty, and staff. I would like this opportunity again to help make our school district the best it can be. Our district, students, faculty, staff, and community deserve nothing less than that.
