What better way is there to enjoy late spring than with an outdoor picnic! Instead of eating in the cafeteria May 24th, Catskill Elementary School students headed outdoors to enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, and the perfect weather. Along with food hot off the grill, students stayed cool with treats like watermelon and ice pops. There was also a DJ spinning songs for everyone to dance to. Catskill Director of Food Services Bill Muirhead said that cafeteria staff have been hosting this Fun in the Sun Barbecue at both CES and Catskill HS/MS each year for nearly twenty years, making it a CCSD tradition!
