This year, the New York State School Boards Association recognizes October 22-26 as School Board Recognition Week. This is a time to promote awareness and understanding of the important work performed by school board members. Catskill Central School District is joining all public school districts across the state to celebrate School Board Recognition Week to honor local board members for their commitment to Catskill and its children.

During the Board of Education’s Oct. 17 meeting, beautiful cards made by the CES (Advisor: Jen Alison), CMS (Carli Gazoorian) and CHS Art (Wendy Doney) Clubs were presented to each member. They also received goodie bags with homemade cookies, applesauce and a bottle of water from the FCCLA students (Advisors Kelly Marino and Carrie Taylor).
