Dear Catskill Administrators, Faculty, Staff, and Community,
I hope you have all had a restful Winter Recess and are recharged for the last few months of school!
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as your new Superintendent. I am truly honored and humbled to be the Superintendent of the Catskill Central School District!
I most recently served in the East Ramapo Central School District for nine years first as an Instructional Supervisor, then as a Director of Multilingual Education and Central Registration, and as the Assistant Superintendent for Student Programs, Assessment, and Evaluation.
My leadership philosophy is embedded in the belief of modeling expectations and leading by example. I have been and will always be a strong advocate for all students, educators, and families. To do this successfully, my goal is to visit schools and classrooms to learn more about the ways that I can support Catskill’s path to excellence.
It is my intent to make every effort to foster a culture of connection, collaboration, and transparency to ensure the continued success of the district and the community. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure we are educating the Whole Child. Therefore, I will maintain a policy of open communication.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and to a successful school year!

Estimados administradores, profesores, personal y comunidad de Catskill:
¡Espero que todos hayan tenido un receso de invierno reparador y que estén recargados para los últimos meses de clases!
Es con gran placer y emoción que escribo esta carta de presentación para usted como su nueva Superintendente. ¡Me siento verdaderamente honrado de ser la Superintendente del Distrito Escolar de Catskill Central!
Recientemente trabajé en el Distrito Escolar Central de East Ramapo durante nueve años, primero como Supervisor de Instrucción, luego como Director de Educación Multilingüe y Registro Central, y como Asistente del Superintendente para Programas Estudiantiles, y Evaluación.
Mi filosofía de liderazgo se basa en la creencia de modelar las expectativas y liderar con ejemplo. He sido y siempre seré un fuerte defensor de todos los estudiantes, educadores y familias. Para hacer esto con éxito, mi objetivo es visitor las escuelas y aulas para obtener más información sobre las formas en que puedo apoyar el camino de Catskill hacia la excelencia.
Es mi intención hacer todo lo posible para fomentar una cultura de conexión, colaboración y transparencia para garantizar el éxito continuo del distrito y la comunidad. Espero trabajar con todas las partes interesadas para garantizar que estemos educando al niño en su totalidad. Por lo tanto, mantendré una política de comunicación abierta.
