Dear Members of the Community,
On behalf of the Board of Education, we are reaching out to address recent concerns that have arisen regarding our educational community. We understand that there is a need for transparency and accountability, and we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity throughout our schools.
Upon learning of recent allegations involving district employees, Superintendent Dan Wilson promptly initiated an investigation to thoroughly examine the matter. The investigation process follows standard procedures established to ensure fairness and impartiality. These procedures include gathering evidence, conducting interviews with relevant parties, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. Throughout the investigation, confidentiality is maintained to protect the privacy and rights of all individuals involved.
While we recognize the public’s interest and concern, it is paramount to safeguard the integrity of the investigation and the rights of those involved. Therefore, at this time, the Board of Education is unable to provide further comment on the specifics of the case.
Please rest assured that we take these matters seriously and remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a safe, fair and supportive learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and support during this process. We encourage community members to continue engaging with us and welcome participation at Board meetings within the confines of the law, regulation, and School District policy. Our next scheduled meeting is March 13th, 2024 and policies regarding participation are available on the District’s website.
