Good Evening Catskill Community

The District has become aware that a Catskill CSD employee publicly disclosed confidential information related to students and employees of the School District. Upon learning of this, the District’s administrative team, including principal Shah and myself, took immediate action in order to address this breach of confidentiality and violation of laws and school policy. While we cannot provide further comment on an individual matter of personnel, the Catskill Central School District takes the protection of student and employee information extremely seriously and strives to comply with the laws and regulations that are in place to protect such information at all times. We find any breach or violation of these rules to be a serious matter and will always respond to ensure that our students and staff confidentiality is protected.
