Reading Buddies is an extracurricular activity where Catskill High School students go to Catskill Elementary School and read books to small groups of elementary students in Mrs. Kunz’s library class. Both the CHS students and CES students benefit from participating in this program. The high school students develop experience as being leaders and act as positive role models, while the elementary students further develop their love of reading by being a part of Reading Buddies.
