Balloon Towers

6th grade STEAM classes took on a tower-building exercise using some pretty challenging materials. Each group had a limited amount of balloons, tape, and time with which to build the tallest tower they could. The record for this year stacked up to an impressive 40 inches!

A team representing Catskill CSD attended the STEAMing Towards Success conference hosted by our regional BOCES. The focus of the conference was on creating partnerships between businesses and schools in order to prepare students for success in 21st Century STEAM careers. CES Honors Vets

Catskill Elementary School honored local veterans with a school-wide ceremony November 8th! We invited local veterans to be our honored guests. After the ceremony, our school invited the veterans in attendance up to the library for a reception with refreshments.
