On March 10, the final beam of our new gymnasium being constructed at Catskill Middle School was hoisted into place. To celebrate the occasion, Catskill Central School District held a beam signing ceremony where school officials left their mark on the beam prior to it being installed. The ceremony was attended by (left to right) CMS Principal Kerry Overbaugh, Board of Education members Patti Dushane and Allan Couser, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ronel Cook, Board member Ryan Osswald, and CHS Interim Principal Junait Shah. The new gym and other improvements taking place on both our secondary and elementary campuses are part of Phase One of our Capital Improvement Project that residents approved in 2019.
