Catskill High School seniors had a big surprise waiting for them at school September 29. The students were called to a special assembly in the auditorium where Catskill administrators joined representatives from Columbia-Greene Community College to announce that the entire Class of 2023 was receiving instant admission to C-GCC for the fall of 2023!
Our seniors will have the option to further their education with two-year degree programs, professional certificates, and transfer opportunities to four-year institutions. To get the instant admission process rolling, they just needed to complete a short online form.
During the assembly, C-GCC representatives highlighted the various opportunities the College provides through its degree, career, transfer, and professional study programs, and our students received official printed certificates to commemorate the occasion.
This ‘Every Student Matters’ initiative helps minimize barriers so that all students have options in place to further their educational pursuits after high school.
