Marine Biology Students Head to the Hudson

Catskill High School Marine Biology students headed to the Cohotate Preserve in Athens on October 14 to conduct field research in the Hudson River. The classes, working in conjunction with Dr. Rebecca Pinder, Associate Professor at Columbia-Greene Community College’s Division of Math and Science, used seine nets to collect and identify fish and other aquatic wildlife found in the River’s estuary. They enjoyed the beautiful weather, scenery, and some interesting finds!
