Five Catskill Seniors Earn National Recognition

Catskill Central School District is proud to announce that Catskill High School’s Ian Fitzmaurice, Devin Fitzmaurice, Grace Guenthner, Madison Jones, and Mia Gottesman are all College Board National Recognition Program awardees. The five seniors have earned the College Board’s National Rural and Small Town Recognition Award, which honors the outstanding academic achievements of students who live in small communities like the ones that make up the Catskill Central School District. In order to be eligible for this prestigious recognition, Ian, Devin, Grace, Madison, and Mia have all maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher and scored in the top 10 percent of all New York State students who took the PSAT in 2022! Please join us in congratulating these outstanding students, who have realized these academic accomplishments during what is arguably the most demanding time of their high school careers. Cats Can and Cats Will!
