Community Forum Jan. 18 – Long Range Strategic Planning

A reminder that Catskill Central School District is inviting members of the community to a Long Range Strategic Plan Forum this Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Catskill High School library. This meeting is for community members who do not have children in the District or for parents who cannot attend the Parent Forum scheduled for next week. The goal is to identify Catskill CSD’s strengths, address challenges, and chart a course for the future that aligns with the evolving needs of our students and community.

The District is developing a Long Range Strategic Plan in partnership with the Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA) to strengthen our commitment to excellence in education and ensure the sustained growth and success of our students and community. The central focus is to create specific, measurable, and attainable goals that will provide a framework for our schools to not only meet the immediate needs of our students but also prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the future. The success of our District is a shared responsibility. Thursday’s community meeting is the first of several targeted stakeholder forums scheduled for the coming weeks to ensure that all voices are heard and considered throughout the process
