Work Continues on Long Term Strategic Plan

Catskill CSD has embarked on a comprehensive planning process facilitated by the Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA). The goal of this partnership is to identify the District’s strengths, address challenges, and chart a course for the future that aligns with the evolving needs of our students and community. This week and last, CASDA executive director Dr. Michael Piccirillo and consultant Dr. Deborah Grimshaw, two former education administrators with decades of experience, hosted several focus groups with students and staff to gather information about how our schools are functioning. They spoke with elementary staff, high school students, and middle school students on January 31 and with our secondary staff on February 5.
